In less than 8 days from today, more than 15 000 brothers and sisters will be arriving at the bushveld farm Oppikoppi, for what will probably go down in SA history as one of the biggest and best music festivals ever held in this beautiful land of ours.. Kreef Hotel crew arrived on site last week Friday, a solid 14 days before the festival starts. With Papa Chris personally in the driver seat this year, the team started nice and early to get ready for this bumper Oppikoppi. To bumper or not to bumper, that is the thing.

Many people have asked, why does Kreef Hotel sit where it sits. Well, the pic on the right should help you understand.. You see, what we did is - we took a pole.. And then we averaged it all out, aggregate of the general - then it stood out like a pole above water, poles apart from any other spot. Pole position! There were some negatives and more positives, some even suggested a bit more north or a bit more south.. But on the hole, this is it.
